# Components:
→ Chicken
01 - 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (approximately 150-180 grams each)
02 - 1 teaspoon salt
03 - 0.5 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
→ Garlic Herb Butter
04 - 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
05 - 4 cloves garlic, minced
06 - 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
07 - 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
08 - 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped
09 - 1 teaspoon lemon zest
→ For Searing
10 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
→ Garnish
11 - 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
12 - Lemon wedges (optional)
# Directions:
01 - Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
02 - Thoroughly pat the chicken breasts dry using paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
03 - In a small mixing bowl, combine the softened butter with minced garlic, finely chopped parsley, thyme leaves, chopped rosemary, and lemon zest. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.
04 - Place an ovenproof skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil. Once the oil is shimmering, carefully add the seasoned chicken breasts. Sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until a beautiful golden-brown crust forms.
05 - Remove the skillet from the heat. Evenly spread the prepared garlic herb butter over the top of each seared chicken breast.
06 - Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven. Bake for 15-18 minutes. The chicken is cooked through when its internal temperature reaches 74°C (165°F).
07 - Remove the skillet from the oven. Allow the chicken to rest for 2 minutes. Spoon the accumulated melted butter from the pan over the chicken before serving.
08 - Garnish with additional chopped fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges, if desired.
