→ Coating & Decoration

15 - 2 cups white or colored candy melts
16 - 1/2 cup granulated sugar
17 - 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
18 - Candy eyes
19 - Sprinkles, mini chocolate chips, or colored sugar
20 - 24 lollipop sticks

# Directions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8-inch round cake pan.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, cream together unsalted butter and granulated sugar until light and airy. Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract.
03 - In a separate bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, baking powder, ground cinnamon, and salt.
04 - Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture alternately with whole milk, mixing gently until just combined.
05 - Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow cake to cool completely.
06 - In a bowl, beat softened cream cheese and unsalted butter until smooth. Add powdered sugar, vanilla, and ground cinnamon; continue beating until the frosting is creamy.
07 - Crumble the cooled cake into fine crumbs. Mix cake crumbs with the prepared frosting until a soft, pliable dough forms.
08 - Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and arrange on a lined baking sheet. Chill for 30 minutes to firm.
09 - Melt candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl according to package instructions. Mix granulated sugar and ground cinnamon in a shallow bowl.
10 - Dip the tip of each lollipop stick into the melted candy, then insert it firmly into each cake ball.
11 - Fully dip each cake pop into melted candy, allowing excess to drip off. Immediately roll in the cinnamon sugar mix and decorate with candy eyes, sprinkles, or colored sugar to give monster features.
12 - Stand cake pops upright in a styrofoam block or cake pop stand and let them set until firm.
