# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • The spice blend hits every note from smoky to slightly sweet without overpowering the natural nuttiness
  • They stay perfectly crunchy for weeks and somehow taste even better on day three
  • One batch costs a fraction of store bought spiced nuts and tastes infinitely fresher
02 -
  • The nuts continue cooking after you pull them from the oven, so remove them when they look slightly lighter than your desired final color
  • Stirring halfway through is non negotiable unless you want some burnt bits and some raw bits
  • These shrink as they cool, so what looks like a massive amount will fit into a surprisingly small container
03 -
  • Buy your spices from the bulk section where turnover is higher for the freshest, most potent flavor
  • Weigh your nuts rather than using cup measurements for more consistent batches
  • Let the coated nuts sit for 10 minutes before baking to let the flavors really soak in
